Sunday May 3

Dad had to leave to work today.

So it was a bummer not to have him home with us for home church.

But we had a nice time today.

There was for sure lots of grumpiness and fighting....you know, it was fast Sunday!!!

For sacrament, we shared some testimonies and also talked about thoughts we are having.

Talking about how the Lord has a plan for us.

Also, about how important it is for us to share our testimonies out loud, so we can HEAR ourselves say the words.

In Sunday school, Elsie read all of the chapter headings for us.

That is a big deal, it is hard to get her to be willing to read even one verse out loud.

But it was her idea today, so there was no fight about her doing it!

We talked about the Kind Noah and Abinadi story.

Oh, that reminds me.....before church, Port sat in his bed and read all the scriptures and started on the questions for CFM.

It made for a very peaceful morning and I was so proud of him to just do it on his own.

It also helped during the family CFM, because he was following what we were a talking about.

Pretty cool.

After 'church' we watched some 'Don't miss this' and also rested a bit before breaking our fast.

Then Madi and I got our paints back out and we finished our landscape.

It turned out okay, but it was relaly fun.

Then we started a new painting, with Logan as the muse.

He got bored after a little bit, so we relied on a picture.

It is so fun to see the different styles Madi and I have and how we can learn from each other.

I am really gonna love these Madi and Mom art dates!!!!

We got the tone blocking done ad we will work more on it tomorrow.

Madi also decided that she wanted to make a matching one of her to go with Logan's picture.

So, we will keep working on those tomorrow.

Cassi made Chik-fil-a for dinner and the was real yummy.

She also made cookies......so yes, the sink if full of dirty dishes.

But she said she would get them done, tomorrow. :)
