Another successful home church.
Dad got home this morning and got a tiny little nap before we started church.
We listened to a conference talk by Henry B Eying from October 2008.
"Our hearts know as one"
Then I shared some stuff that I learned in my come follow me study this week about the difference between being angry and having contempt.
Anger isn't what's bad.
It is when we start feeling that we are above or better than others.
Anger can be resolved.
But contempt, that is a different thing.
That is seeing someone as worthless.
That is not Christlike.
Anyway, we had some good discussion on that.
Then we enjoyed our scripture reading and Come Follow Me for Sunday school(with Elsie reading the chapter headings).
After some quiet time, the kiddos spent some time outside with the bunnies and ducks.
Daddy made a yummy steak dinner for us.
Then this evening we had a zoom stake fireside.
It worked out pretty good.
The kids asked questions a few weeks ago about how to be prepared for unforeseen things.
It was a nice hour to sit and listen to the words of our stake presidency.
Then we watched the movie 'Abominable'.
It was a cute show.
The weather is supposed to turn colder tomorrow and rain.
I wish I had my garden in!!!!!
So much to get done!!!
