Sunday June 2

It was a pretty smooth morning getting ready for church.

The secret, I think, is that on Fast Sunday I let them sleep until they ONLY have enough time to get ready and no time to remember they could be eating breakfast :)

But testimony meeting was really good.

Lots of talk about trusting the Lord and his plan and timing.

After church we took a ride to go see Dad at the Fire station.

He got a call about some baby ducks that fell down a sewer trap thing.

They got them out, but by then the mama had left.

So Dad told me to come and pick them up so they could live on the farm.

Sad ending to the story.....I went to check on them this evening and they were gone!!!! 

There is no sign of anything getting in to get them.

There is a small hole in the container and that must have been how they got out!

Port and Elsie are asleep, so they don't know yet :(

They will be so sad!

Anyway.....

Cassi made some lemon bars to take to the guys at the station :)

While we were at the station, dad got another call so they left and we left after they did.

In the afternoon, the Halls came over to see the horse.

Oh ya, they brought a horse here late last night :)

Justin got it from his Dad in Arizona and a guy drove it to Utah for him to pick up.

She they got here about 11:30 last night.

The horses name is Dunny and it is a nice calm old horse.

It will be fin to have another horse around here.

The poor guy has been pretty beat up.

He was in a place with another stallion that kind of took charge.

Poor guy has scars and a few almost healed up sores.

Hopefully he likes it better here!

Anyway......

We did our Come Follow Me and Madi left for a camp meeting.

Just a little over a week until girls camp!!!!!

I have a couple art classes starting tomorrow.....

I am not quite ready so I should get that put together.

Nothing like last minute!!!!
