Wednesday June 20

I got up early and took Jenni to the airport.
Then I went for a run with my friend Makenna.
She is a very good runner, and she was always my motivation to get in shape because she had to keep running when she went to girls camp.
And she couldn't go alone, she needed a leader.
So I always needed to get in running shape to go with her.
I was telling her that I was missing her as my motivation this year since she graduated and isn't going to girls camp.
And she told me that we should go on runs together :)
So I have been trying to get myself in shape to even be able to keep up with her......and today was the day!
We ran 7 miles non-stop, and it was so great....and so HARD!
She is a great trainer!
And she definitely had to hold back a bit for me :)
But she is still willing to go with me more.
She's a pretty awesome human!
Elsie had fun reading her book out loud to Mater.
Hopefully that will become a regular thing.
I really feel like today was a blur.
I did got VTing to the park.
We combined with the Activity days girls too.
One of my ladies is an AD leader, and she was struggling with what to do, cancel or not because the other leaders were out of town.
So we figured it would work out great to combine it all :)
And it worked perfect.
We took Port, Max and Graham too.
This evening we had YW combined with YM.
We played water games and it was fun.
I told Porter to not be goofy...because the YM don't know how to be soft to littler boys.
And I was right...he got pelted really hard a few times by some bigger boys.
Dang kids!
Big and little ones!

 Doing chores!
