Sunday June 3 (add pictures)

Another fun day with family!
We went to church with Emmy.
Then came back and changed and then got our stuff all packed up.
We met at the pavilion church at 12.
Then I started taking pictures and finally finished up around 2:30.
That's a lot of picture taking!
A lot of family!!!!
But we got them all done....except for Katie and Andy who couldn't make it this year :(
Then my family hopped in the car and we drove to Evanston.
It will be a quick visit......but still happy to come!
We stopped by to see Grandma and pick up flowers from the graves.
Then we got to Gramps house and enjoyed some KFC dinner.
We also enjoyed the beautiful sunny afternoon here in Evanston.
We cut a few lilacs to put in the house and then Madi and Cassi took some to Cin and Sandra.
This evening the girls and I watched the worldwide youth devotion given by Pres. Nelson and sister Nelson.
It was a wonderful devotion.
Sis. Nelson talked first about what we were put here on earth for.
Then Pres. Nelson talked about the gathering of Israel, and how we can take part.
He gave the youth (and everyone) 5 challenges.
1. 7 day social media fast... take inventory afterwards with what you want to keep doing and what you want to change.
2.Weekly sacrifice of time to the Lord for 3 weeks in a row.
So, give up something like sleeping in, or going with friends and go to the temple or study scriptures instead.
3.Thorough assessment of your life, repent of anything that needs to be taken care of  *keep on the covenant path
4. Pray daily for all to receive the blessings of the Gospel
5.Stand out. Be different. Be a light!

He also challenged them to go over the Strength of Youth pamphlet, and really study them.
Once studied......give it to someone else :)
Let them read it.
It really was such an amazing broadcast and I am excited to see the light that has been fired under the youth.....in my own girls and in their friends who have texted them about it since watching it.
I have had the opportunity to work with the youth for several years......and I KNOW these kids are different from other generations.
They have some big challenges....but I am in awe at their testimonies and the real knowledge they have of the gospel.
They have been chosen for this time.....to be here for the gathering of Israel.
It is an exciting time!!!!!
