Sunday June 24

Dad got home this morning.

We got to enjoy some time with him before he leaves us for this next week!

Okay, he won't be totally gone......but he is teaching another class this upcoming week.

The youngest three went to choir practice.

Madi woke up with a migraine, so she laid back down for a bit.

But she was back up and showered before church, so she came along.

Avery got injured yesterday in Rugby, and she was supposed to speak in church today.

She didn't want to go up there with crutches...….so she asked Cassi if she would give the talk :)

And Cass totally did!

It was funny, in her talk she mentioned that she should be listed in the directory as ward substitute speaker, because the last time she spoke was because she stood in for Madi when she had a migraine :)

She is a pretty good one to have around!

The little ones sang with the choir during sacrament meeting.

Elsie always stands there with Sierra and it is so sweet.

But watching my little boy singing along with all those big men....it was just so darn cute!

I enjoyed our Sunday school lesson today about trusting in the lord, in his timing.

Sometimes we don't know what lay ahead for us, but we just need to trust in the Lord.

And trust that he loves us and it's all gonna be okay.

Many times in our life I've had to trust in the Lord.....and I have been so thankful for every single outcome so far!

Sure, it is hard.

Dang hard!

But things always turn out better than if I could have hand-picked the outcome I thought I would want :)

So, hopefully knowing that will carry me through any other trials thrown this way!!!!

For dinner, we invited Bubble over for some burgers.

Eldon is gone again.

She is always a party!

You can't help but smile and have a good time with her around!

This evening we watched a couple Random Acts as a family and then all the kids were in bed by 9!!!!!!

Tomorrow is gonna be a late night so I wanted them to get some sleep.

We, the Edwards, Leavitts, and the Morgans are going to the starlight mountain theatre for a Wizard of the Oz play.

Minus all the adult men, cause they all have to work.

But it is gonna be quite late when we get home.....

Tonight is ending with me sitting here on the deck. blogging, and hanging out with my man ❤

Sure gonna miss him the next few days!!!!!
