Sunday February 11

 This little over-night get away was just what we needed.

The little ones got up kind of early....so I turned on some cartoons and watched with them until the others woke up.

I made them all muffins for breakfast.

I really did not sleep good last night, not sure why.

So after I got the kitchen all cleaned up, I laid back down.

Well....I ended up sleeping for almost 3 hours!!!!!!

While I was sleeping, Dad and the kids went and played in the snow and they played card games.

He made sure they had a good time :)

He and Porter worked for quite a while trying to get his rubix cube figured out!

I woke up and we had some lunch...played some more games and then went for a nice walk.

It was a really nice day.

It was cold, but no breeze, so it was quite enjoyable.

We got back and cleaned up the place and made a little heart decoration for Bubble and Eldon to enjoy when they come up next time :)

We are so grateful for them and their willingness to share this sweet little cabin with us!

The drive home went really well, with a lot of talking to each other and hearing some of Dad's stories from when he was a kid....and realizing what a miracle it is that he is even alive!!!!!!

Now back to real life!

But it sure was nice to have a tiny nit of a break for a bit!

Oh....I forgot...something big happened at church today.

Our ward got split!!!!!

I am still not quite sure who is and is not in our ward.

Guess I will get that figured out soon.
The YW president is now in the other ward, so for now I also do not have a calling.

I pray so badly to stay with the YW....but I will just have to wait and see how things play out!

So tired after our lovely stroll in the snow :)
