Sunday January 7

We got up this morning and got ready to go to church.
We attended sacrament meeting at the local church building.
Today was fast and testimony meeting so that was really fun to say ALOHA each time someone got up to bear their testimony.
It is really neat to be able to attend a meeting this far from home and for it to still feel like home.
I fell in love with the sweet families there.
And it is funny to see such a large ward.......and probably half of them were visitors!
I imagine their ward is like that pretty regularly!
The couple missionary that was there is from Meridian Idaho!!!!!
Crazy small world, huh!
After church, we came home and had lunch then decided to drive into Lahaina.
We visited the Banyan tree park and got some yummy shaved ice :)
Then we went and walked around the shops and just spent a little bit of time there.
We needed to run to the store to get more supplies.
We got home and then we took a little walk to the beach where they played in the water.
Elsie played in the sand........
Then we decided to go to the hotel pool to help with washing off of sand :)
And Elsie bug took a dip in the Hot Tub.
I can already tell she is getting worn out........
The Hot tub helped to loosen up her poor little legs.
We were going to go to see the sunrise on Haleakala tomorrow, BUT, we failed to get the parking reservations.
Oh well......I think we need to make sure not to exhaust these guys anyway.
Especially Elsie big......when she is worn out, that makes things 100,000 times harder!
So she actually went to bed pretty early tonight and now we are watching a movie before we cuddle in bed too.
I was naïve to think there would be no fighting here in paradise......but I do see more of an effort in trying not to :)
That is another reason I don't think we should pack too much in.........when they are tired, they get grumpy.
When they get grumpy, they get mean.
Tomorrow is our Luau day.
That is in the evening, so I think our morning will be finding another beach to try out.
Then we will have a nice evening at the Luau :)
