Today the kiddos only had a half day.
Which seems so silly.
I am all for teacher collaboration......but why didn't they do it next Thursday to connect with the Christmas holiday.
Or maybe even Monday morning, let them come to school late!
But in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week.
Seems so silly to me.
And it throws the whole week off!!!!!!
Oh well, we survived!
Dad went in for another shift this morning.
Boise sent a bunch of guys to the California fires, leaving spots to be filled here.
So that is where he is helping out.
I went to the gym, worked on some Christmas stuff, and got showered before the kids started coming home.
Madi donated blood today for her first time, so that was cool.
She got woozy and felt like she was gonna faint twice, but she didn't.
She was good.
Then she went to lunch with Friends.
Cassi hung out with her friends, and I picked her up on the way to the store.
Cannon and Max came over to hang out with Porter.
I just love these boys friendships so much!
So grateful that Porter has these great boys to grow up with!
They are building forts with the wood down in the field.
They always stay busy!!!!!!
Elsie had speech.
Joanne said that the end of the year will really be when she is done.
Which will be a bummer :(
After dinner, Elsie and I listened to her book.
We have been listening to Spellbinder on disc that we got from the library.
While we listen, we color in her coloring books.
It is fast becoming a favorite pastime for me, and hopefully her too :)
