Tuesday October 17

Started the morning with taking Elsie to her eye appointment.

It was a long appointment because she was dilated.

Oh man....break my heart!

We had to call in another person to come help hold her down for the eye drops!

She got over it quickly and held no hard feelings about it.

She was great for all the rest of it.

Today was early release......but Elsie still wanted to go to school even for the 2 hours she would be there :)

So I went and got some groceries until it was time to pick them up.

Once I picked the kids up, I dropped the boy off and took Elsie to go pick out glasses.

I think we found some cute ones.

She will get them in about a week.

Then I came home and started painting.

I painted the garage for a little bit before I left again to take Elsie to her dance class.

Elsie has been so excited for this class!!!!!!

There were only three kids.....I guess more signed up, just didn't come.

Maybe next week.

Anyway, she loved it!

And she came home making her own dance moves and holding her own 'class'.

I was proud of her for going in on hr own without me!

Pretty awesome and brave!

The boys went and helped Bubble and Eldon clean out their garden.

They were being great and helpful until they got in trouble with Vern for throwing tomatoes at her chickens.

Dang boys!

Dad came home tonight for dinnertime.

He originally took it off because we were gonna have our first basketball practice tonight....but we didn't contact names until today......so we will have the practice tomorrow.

Anyway, he also leaves early tomorrow morning to go and be medical help at the Meridian Temple open house.

Which is pretty cool.

After dinner, he and Porter finished mowing the lawn.

And I painted, then he helped me out with painting to get it done in the dark.

So everything is painted now (we might have to double check how it looks tomorrow in the daylight!!!!)

The big girls both hung out with friends this evening.....and just barely got home.

I think the early release day gave them a false sense of vacation....or weekend time!

Why am I such a messy painter!!!!!!
