Tuesday June 6

I went for a morning run when Dad left for work.
Madi also went babysitting early this morning.
Elsie had speech therapy today and after that I took the three to the library.
It was a new library that we hadn't been to yet, so that was fun.
They got some fun stuff, and got the info for the summer ready.
Later this evening I grabbed some pizza and we met up with the Terry's and had pizza for dinner, then went swimming at the pool.
It was nice to sit and chat with Jenni while the kiddos played :)
Elsie was playing with a noodle that was there in the water.
A boy went up to her and I thought he asked for the noodle back.
So I told her to give it back and she was so sad.
She doesn't think she can float with just the life jacket....
Well, as I was trying to convince her it was okay, the mom of the boy said it wasn't theirs, and the guy who did own the noodle said it was just fine for her to use it.
So little miscommunication, but lots of kind people wanting to help.
Well, when that guy left before we did, he came up to me and told me that Elsie could just keep the noodle!
I know it is just a simple thing, but it was just so very sweet.
Something he didn't have to do, but did.
And it was so kind.
I guess there was another boy in the pool that had said something about or to Elsie having to do with her being scared to go in the water and she was being a baby or something.
Well, Porter the Protector told him to stop.
The kid said 'Why'. and Porter said 'Because she's my sister!'
And then swam off.
That made me so proud.
My boy who is always causing some kind of trouble, was there to stick up for his sister.
Made my mama heart proud.
I am sad about that other boy......he just doesn't understand.
It is so important for us to be kind to everyone, no matter what!
After swimming, we went and got snow cones from Madi so the Terry girls could see her and say their goodbye's.
I will miss them, but I am excited for their adventure!!!

These two were inseparable all night!
They are two peas in a pod.
I had to snap a picture of them chatting after eating pizza.
I think they were talking about scary stories.....
I am saving this picture for their wedding video :)
