It was such a nice day again outside!

I am just loving it!

I stopped at the store to buy more paint today.....thinking I might get to a painting point today,

I didn't.

But at least I am prepared for it when I do get around to it :)

I did get a lot done today though.

I got myself some hanging baskets......and I think that was my greatest accomplishment today!

Now I just need to get MORE!!!!!!

I got the weeding done in the strawberries, almost finished planning my lesson for Sunday, I even bought 4 fruit trees that were on sale.....just gotta get them planted!!!!

The kids played a lot outside.

Elsie rode Maggie with Madi.

Poor Cassi had to spend the whole time before dinner doing homework!

But afterwards she did spelling words with the little ones.

They did it with chalk out on the cement pad :)

They thought it was pretty great.

So I just wanted to write something down to remember.....

When Cassi decided to help the little ones with spelling (because she knew it would help me out), she was in a really good mood and ran and got the chalk and went out the door in a very chipper and happy mood.

On her way out she said "Love you".

Which isn't uncommon, but it was how she said it that just was so sweet to me.

It really showed me the joy that comes when you serve others.

She was so happy about just this small thing, but it was so helpful to me.

Anyway, I just loved it :)

It was such a nice evening, I hated to bring the kids in to go to bed when it was still so nice outside!!!!!

Summer can't come soon enough!!!!!

It makes me so happy that Elsie is willingly choosing to read on her own!!!!
