Sunday May 7

It was a nice day today.

Fast Sunday isn't always an easy one without Dad here to help spread out the grumpiness......

But it wasn't so bad today.

The girls left for Choir while Port and I got finished getting ready, and I got my lesson stuff all ready to go.

I taught the girls in YW about following the prophet and how the guidance we get from them will help us through our hard times.

And sometimes we are asked to do things. without knowing why we are being asked to.

But then later on, we can see the reason for it.

But our job now, is to just have Faith that what we are asked to do is of God and will be the best for us.

I think it went okay.....

I was a bit short so that left time for the girls to bear their testimonies, which was really nice.

I love to hear the strong testimonies of the youth now-a-days!

They are so strong these days!

It just amazes me!

After church we made some treats and picked up a bit for the youth family history group to meet here.

We had a good turnout....about 20 youth.

Brother Clapson taught us about zoning.

It worked out pretty good.

Then after they left we went over to the Edwards house for a little birthday celebration for Billy.

His birthday is tomorrow, but he will be working, so we celebrated today.

Then we sat and talked and just enjoyed time together while the kiddos played.

We just love this Mary lane family of ours so much!!!!

(But we sure are missing the Morgans!!!!!!)

I am on Jury Duty this week, so i called in this evening and found out they won't need me tomorrow.

So I have a free day.

BUT....it is filling up fast with things I need to get done!

It is hard having a jury duty week, because you can't plan to have plans.....and then when you don;t get called in, you want to get as much stuff done as you can in case they call you in the next day!!!!!

So for now, tomorrow is free :)
