It was a rainy cold day today.

But I did finish putting stain on the planter boxes before they got all wet from the rain.

So that was good :)

I got quite a bit of laundry done....I guess that is what rainy days are for.....

Cassi came home with a letter saying she was accepted for the National Junior Honors Society....so that is exciting!

It wasn't long after school got out that we had to leave to Port's football game.

Today was the last game!

We had a game at 5:15, and if we won that, we would play again at 7:15.

We did not plan to win.

But boy oh boy, these boys did awesome!!!!

It was a great game and the boys won!

We had a pizza celebration party on the field between games.

It really was a fun team of boys :)

Then it was on to the second team to play for playoffs......which just happened to be the #1 ranked team!

We thought for sure we would get slaughtered!!!!!

But the boys did so great!

We scored first and got some great flag pulls.

We ended up tied and then there were a few weird calls that happened......

Pushing us back quite a few yards for something they said was a rule int he handbook.

Anyway, we ended up losing at the last 2 minutes by an extra touchdown they made....which they shouldn't have had the opportunity to make, because when we came home and Billy read the handbook, the refs were wrong on the call they moved us back on.

Kind of a bummer.....

BUT.....so cool that the boys played so well against the #1 team!

I was very proud of them!

It was a fun night......pretty cold, but fun :)

We ended up the season with a couple extra jerseys and shorts....so Port ran some to the boys to have extra and Vern tried them on!!!!

Funniest thing ever!!!!

I told her we should have been wearing them all season to cheer the boys on!!!!
