I helped in the office today.
There was a little boy that came in.....last week he started having panic attacks, not wanting to leave mom and go to school.
Today mom talked to the school counselor because she needed help.
Mom and Dad brought him in and then they left.
My heart broke for mom!
All the feelings of when Cassi had panic attacks came rushing back!
I just wanted to hug her!!!!!
The poor boy sat in the principles office talking with the counselor and crying and crying saying he didn't know if his mom would be there when he got off the bus.
Oh it just makes me so sad thinking about all those feelings Cassi felt and I felt.
And so grateful to be through that hard time!
That was one of the hardest things I have ever done as a mom.
Tore me to pieces!
I helped in the office for a while and then came home and got my pantry put together.
I moved the bookshelves to their next temporary place, into our closet :)
There is one side of shelves in the closet, but we never got finished with it because we weren't sure of the layout...but we definitely needed some more shelves in there.
And these will work perfectly until we decide to do something else :)
Elsie had speech right after school and then we went to Cassi's first basketball game.
It was fun to watch her and she is doing so good!
At the end she stole the ball, and ran to make a basket!
Woo hoo Cass!
They did lose the game, but I am proud with how Cassi played.
She is such a good sport too.
She is so kind and encouraging to her teammates and even the other team!
She is such a good kid :)
Elsie is quite the little cheerleader!
That girl can yell and scream with the best :)
IT was pretty fun watching her get so into the game!
We ended up having dinner at like 7:30.....way later than our usual.
But the kids did get to bed early, so that is good!
Poor Elsie has had a rough time with her foot the last few weeks, being a lot worse the last few days.
I had Katie watch how she walks when we went to PT yesterday.....
She was surprised that her right foot was the one hurting, because the arch seems to be falling and toes fanning out on her left side....
So we were maybe thinking that her right side is trying to make up for the left side and causing the pain in the right foot.
I don't know.
We are keeping an eye on it......Katie put tape on her legs to see if it helps because it seemed to help last week.
If not, we will look into some arch supports and hopefully not anything more serious than that.....
