The whole day seemed to revolve around the theme of having Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ....

From the sacrament talks, to the lesson that Brent gave in his class (that I got to help in) and the lesson I did in YW.

Most of my lesson came from this talk from Dallin H. Oaks  and this talk from Neil A. Anderson.

Both such great talks.

This was a great quote from Elder Oaks talk.

Another quote from President Monson, "Fear Not......the Future is as bright as your faith."

If you know and believe that  the Lord loves you and wants the best for you then you know and believe that whatever happens, you can have faith that there is a greater plan....no matter how hard it may seem.

You see that there is a bigger picture......

Having Faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ takes more than just knowing though....we have to show by our actions.

Reading our scriptures, following the prophets, choosing the right, serving others.....

It is all part of the same big plan.

I just really enjoyed today :)

It was a wonderful day and I am thankful for the chance to be able to go to church and feel the spirit and learn ways I can improve who I am trying to become!

After church I made a treat to take to our ward FHE.

The YW were put in charge and we had to go at about 4 to help get it all set up.

We played Family Feud and I think it was a lot of fun.

They are trying to do a lot of things to try and build unity within the ward.

There was a good turnout and even though I still feel like I don't know anyone....I am starting to get to know people because of these kinds of activities.

It was a fun night :)
