They went to SCHOOL!!!!!!!

The kids were all very happy to get up and ready for school today!

Mom and Dad were happy for them too :)

We love our kids....but so many unplanned days, stuck inside, not so great all the time!

We didn't have any plans today, because we thought it could be another snow day....

We decided to just take it easy and do our own thing.

Until we heard the big loud banging upstairs.

It sounded like someone was in our attic trying to get in.

It was quite windy outside......

We went out to look and that's when we saw them.

Shingles.

The wind was knocking them off.....again :(

Same spot as before!

There must be some kind of wind tunnel that shoots up through those dormer windows and rips the shingles up!

We waited a little bit because it was so windy.

About 30 minutes later it had calmed a bit.

He went up.

I was pretty nervous.

Wet roof, strong winds.....

But as soon as he got up there, the wind all but stopped!

It was still very cold....but no wind.

I gathered the shingles I could.

He patched all the places that were coming up.

We need to go back up again with some tar.

After that Dad worked on his truck.

It is throwing a code.

We need to take it in to get fixed a bit but we can't take it in until we get the Suburban back :(

While he was doing truck stuff, I got some YW stuff done and also some picture editing done.

Then before you knew it....the kids came home :)

It is Wednesday....so the crazy rush was on.

Elsie and Porter to Activity Days and Scouts at 5.

I picked them up at 6, but also dropped Madi off at her YCL meeting that was at 6, only not at the church.

So she was a bit late.

Dad was helping Justin, so I dropped Porter off to him there.

Elsie, Cassi and I had our dinner then left for YW.

Dad picked up Madi from the YCL meeting, brought her to the church and picked up Elsie, then he brought Elsie and Porter home.

Then the big girls and I wee home around 9.

Scriptures, Prayers, and bed!

I guess it's a good thing I haven't painted the window trim yet :)
