Cassi got to go boating with her friends Kiera and Halle today.
So she got up to get ready when I left to go running.
Then Dad came home (yay).
I did some more weeding outside after my run.
Oh will the goat-heads ever stop!?!?!?!?!?!?
We did some cleaning up in the house.
We had plans to have the missionaries over for dinner this evening, so we needed to tidy up.
Port has been working on some plans to try and convince Dad to dig a pond.
He is taking this business very seriously!
I picked Cassi up about 1:30, because she had her first singing lessons with Allie Ogden today.
She was so excited!
I am excited too!
I think Allie will really help her and encourage her!
After her lesson Cassi and I went to Winco to get some groceries.....
Actually, if you want to know the truth...
I went while she was at the lesson and was done in time to pick her up.
BUT, then I realized I did not pick up the chicken I went shopping for in the first place!
Oh my mind!
Seriously, I drive myself mad!
So after that we came home and got dinner started and kids dressed :)
They came about 5 and it was a nice evening.
Elder Thueson (sp?) was on splits with a different missionary, Elder Goode.
Dad made them chicken cordon bleu for dinner.
I think it was a hit.
Then we cleaned up and sat around and talked and got to know them
Elder Thueson left us with a message and also asked to pray for them by name.....Elder Thueson and his companion, Elder Fiame.
Hopefully we can have Elder Fiame over too sometime soon.
Elder Thueson said that he and his family were doing a home remodel right before he left on his mission.
Like really doing it themselves, like us :)
So he said they would be happy to come over anytime with any help we might need.
After they left, Cassi went to her friend, Brinley's house to swim.
The rest of the fam watched 'America's got talent' and dad made us Orange Julius's.
Yum :)
