Monday July 4

So Dussy Boy says it would be un-patriotic if I didn't blog on the 4th of July.
He says that I have not blogged on the 4th of July, ever.
Which is just not true!
But I gotta keep him happy!
So happy 4th of July!!!!
This morning I went for a run and then I went and took some family pictures for a cute little family.
When I got home, dad had the trailer all hooked up to take to the Young's house for their family reunion this weekend.
We didn't mean to stay very long......but did.....
Sorry guys!
Everyone is just so fun to hang out with!
We went and checked out the pond that the neighbor just filled up and drove the boat around it.
So cool!
Elsie wasn't too sure about it.,...but she went anyway.
Then the boat died in the middle of the pond!
But dad got it going again.
Port really wanted to jump in!
Maybe next time :)
When we left, we brought Kara home with us so she could hang out with Madi a little bit more.
When it was time for Madi to go to work, Kara went with her and then Drew and Heather picked her up there.
At a little after 5, we went to the Morgan's and had dinner.
Stacia and I were wearing the same shirt!
Kind of funny!
We decided to say we planned it :)
The kids all swam and then there was the annual shaving cream fight with the kids.
That is always a big hit with the kiddos!
Elsie was excited to participate this year too :)
Then more swimming and then fireworks.
Madi wasn't selling any snow cones at the shack, so her boss had her close up.
Then she got to join us a little bit earlier than planned.
It was a fun night spent with lots of fun friends.
Happy 4th of July.
Aren't I so patriotic, Dussy boy?????

(Thanks to Kara for being an awesome photographer!)

These are from my morning run :)
Beautiful day!

Port helped dad move the mule out of the way so he could pull the trailer through.
It really was the cutest thing ever :)

Not wanting to be on the boat.....

Much happier to be on a broken boat in the middle of the pond :)

Handy men, can fix anything.
