The girls didn't get home until after 12:30 last night!
About 16 miles from Boise, they came to a dead stop.
Like put your car in park kind of stop.
They were there for 30 minutes before they started moving.
I guess there was a truck and trailer on fire blocking the roads!
Poor girls....they all just wanted to get home!
So it was a little hard to get them up this morning for church.
But they did.
Madi got to speak in church today.
She did a great job and spoke about baptism.
Her confidence and ability to be in front of large amounts of people really astounds me!
She kinda rocks!
This morning Elsie complained about her tummy hurting......but I didn't really put much thought into it.
She always complains of something if she doesn't want to do something.
She wanted to stay home, so she said her tummy hurt.
Ya....well....
She threw up all over Dad at church :(
Aw man....am I am bad mom or what????
I went and helped him get her cleaned up, then I took them home.
The rest of church was uneventful.
After church I sent a text to the Young's.
they had planned to come over for dinner.
I wanted to make sure they were still okay with it since Elsie threw up.
She had no fever, and she felt much better after she had a bath.
They still wanted to come (yay)!
The kids were all happy about that because it seems like forever since we have been able to hang out as families!
Before they came we did our General Conference talk.
This week's talk was 'Be thou Humble' by Steven E. Snow.
A great talk, like they all are.
I really liked the part when he talked about how being humble and more kind to others would rid our homes of contention.
....just what we need right in this time of our lives....less contention!!!!!
And how unnecessary pride can break apart a family.
Also how though the eyes of humility, we are better able to see the miracles that go on all around us!
Such an important quality to strive for......to be humble so we can be better followers of Christ.
Give the talk a listen/read :)

While waiting for the Young's to come, Port was on the swing for about an hour.
He has found a real love for that swing.
It cracks me up.
He will just go back and forth with his eyes closed and smiling....just loving it.
And hey, he isn't causing any trouble or bothering his sisters!
Win, win!
The Young's came about 5.
We chatted and had dinner and chatted some more.
So great to have such great friends, really family, in our lives!
We lucked out with them for sure!
