Okay, so Elsie didn't go to bed until after 11 last night, and she woke up with a tummy ache this morning.
I knew that it would make for a rough day at school so I kept her home.
Cassi also stayed home.
She also said she didn't feel well, but then ended up just fine after some sleeping in.
I think she was just really tired too.
Anyway, so hopefully all will be back to normal tomorrow and they can all go off to school feeling happy and ready to learn :)
I got some stuff done.
Cassi was helpful around the house.
She swept and mopped the floors for me.
I had to run to the store to get the supplies for YW tonight.
She and Elsie stayed home and watched Brave together.
Today was Bubble's birthday!
I took Elsie and Cassi and bought some little cakes for Bubble's at "nothing 'bundt' cakes".
Then when Madi got home, I had her water color a picture for her :)
Vern and I were talking about Bubble and her 'Mary Lane grandkids'......and we wanted her to have a picture of her 'Mary Lane Minis'!
Madi rocked it out of the park, and the painting was so gosh dang cute!!!!!!!
But she blames me for still being up so late doing homework....cause I MADE her paint :)
Ha ha.....
We too the cards and picture to her with the Edwards and we chatted for a bit.
Then we had to get back home because it is mutual tonight, and the Beehives and the senior Laurels were coming to my house!
We had plans to tie two quilts and we got them done!
Yay!
One of our other leaders is friends with some people who make bunk beds for kids who have to sleep on the floor....maybe refugees, maybe low income families.....
Anyway, they also give the bunk beds away with brand new bedding, so we wanted to make some quilts to go along with that.
It was a lot of fun and there was lots of chatting going on :)
And it turned into a late night again.......
Luckily I don't have much going on tomorrow, so maybe we can rest.
Except for running!
I missed that today :(
Yes, Elsie is holding a buffalo :)
