Monday February 8

Today was kind of fun.

My friend Michelle has a friend who has been remodeling their house.

She wanted to get us together to show each other and her our houses.

She is also thinking of remodeling and wanted to get ideas.

So that was how most of the day was spent.

Looking at each others houses and talking :)

So I didn't get much else done.......

Dad did though :)

He pulled up a spot in our bathroom floor that used to be the edge of the house that we filled with insulation, but it had compacted and the cement board over top of it was starting to break......

Good thing we didn't tile in there yet!

See, there are good things that go along with taking FOREVER to finish stuff ;)

Anyway, he got that fixed up, so now maybe we will get to get that bathroom tiled in the near future.

Drew came over to check out what we wanted to do for doors on the cabinets.

I am excited about it :)

And this was the scene before dinner tonight.

Everyone working on their homework, even Dad.

It made my mama heart happy :)

Except it would be better if none of them had homework and we could do something fun........

Anyway.

After dinner, Port gave us a FHE about Repentance.

When he went to the 'Great to be 8' thing, they gave each kid a folder with 4 FHE plans to do the month before the kid gets baptized.

What a great idea.

But he REALLY wanted to start doing it, even though he doesn't get baptized until December.......

We can just do it all again in November for a refresher course :)
