Sunday November 22

So, we survived talking in church :)

I think it went well.

I tried really hard not to let it paralyze me with fright.

And it was still terrifying.....but I think maybe I hid it well :)

Brent rocked it.

He always does.

He is funny and witty, and talks to them as apposed to reading his talk, which is what I do.....

I enjoyed his talk.

After sacrament meeting, I went with Brent to class.

His partner was gone and they couldn't find a sub, so I sat in for him.

Elsie stayed with us, of course.

But she did good.

Then when it was time to go to YW, she went with Dad.

Cassi got to teach for her first time in Beehives today.

I helped her out of course and she did a great job.

So it was a full day of teaching for me ;)

Hope someone learned something!!!!!

After church our HT came over.

We had a nice chat with them.

Then Port wanted to put together his robot spider we got him for his birthday.

He didn't do it yesterday, cause he wanted Dad to do it with him.

So they did it together.

And it is just the sweetest thing to see them working together.

If you know Brent, you know he likes to put some kind of lesson into everything.

And it is awesome cause the boy just eats it up!

The robot had some wires to hook up to batteries and Port learned a lot from Dad about how things work.

Those two are so much a like.

It does my heart good :)

It was a very cool kit.

He was loving every second of putting it together.

It made me laugh.

Dad got up to get a drink and helped Cassi with some typing stuff she was doing.

Port called out, "Dad, it seems like this has become just me building this!"

It was so funny the tone of voice he used....like when a parent yells at a kid for not helping when they are supposed to be.

So funny :)

Then we had dinner and then cuddled up and watched Life of Pi together.

I am excited for this week of fun and family!

Tomorrow we will need to get some cleaning done for sure......

It seems to have been a crazy week this last week!

I am excited to just take it easy and enjoy time together!

(As long as there is no fighting!!!!!)
