Friday November 6

Well, today was not a particularly fun day :(

Dad went in for some overtime hours.

Port and Elsie both woke up with a little fever, but also sore throats.

So I kept them home.

 I thought they would just want to cuddle on the couch and watch movies.

Elsie did that, but the boy, he was all kinds of bored!
He did help me when we went out to feed the chickens.
That is where the cute picture comes from :).

I also got more of the basement picked up, mostly just doing laundry and stuff.

They helped me out with that.

Then we cut up apples to make some crock pot apple sauce.

So yummy!

They also had fun with the apple spiral-er.....spiraled apples are super yummy :)

The big kids came home and I headed to the school to help set up for tonight's Family Movie Night.

Then went and did some birthday shopping for Cassi.

Back home then.

Got them some dinner and then went back to the school for the movie night.

Without my family.

I ended up leaving early because we had a lot of adults there helping, and the student council running the concessions.

By the time I got home, Dad was home too.

So we all watched some TV to wind down then got everyone in bed.

I hope we all feel better tomorrow.

Tomorrow Cassi turns 12!!!!!!

It is also our ward service day tomorrow morning.

And Cassi's party!
