Thursday October 8 (add pictures)

The Internet is not working so i am blogging from my phone. 

We made plans to go to the temple this morning and I'm glad we got there :)

It was a tough morning.

Cassi has been a mess since yesterday, worried about the xc district meet today.

Got her of the school though.

Then port didn't want to go to school either. 

He's been having a hard time and it seems to get worse every day. 

But I got the little ones of to school. 

Then we got ready to go to the temple and i got a call from Cassi.

she needed lunch money and she wanted me to bring her a new dress. 

They dress up on the days they have meets.

She wore a long dress that she kept stepping on. 

So on the way to the temple we took her a new dress and lunch money. 

Then we were in our way to the temple. 

She caked again asking if i could just come back for a minute, she needed to tell me  something. 

She was kind of panicky....and i said just tell me over the phone. 

She kept telling me over and over just to come back. 

I told her we were almost to the temple and then she talked to dad. 

He got it or of her that she was hoping we would take her home because she didn't feel good. 

Nerves for the meet I guess. 

Dad told her to call us back in a couple hours,  when we got back from the temple, if she still didn't feel good. 

She agreed to that. 

So we got to the temple. 

It was so nice and peaceful as soon as we entered! 

A welcome change from the stressful morning! 

We are hoping to go every week this month again.....really helps to refocus priorities when you do that. 

after the temple,  we went to the olive garden :)

It was a very nice morning together. 

While we were gone,  Pat decided to take the day and come out to do some painting on the deck railing. 

How awesome is she :)

so i helped her a but when we got home. 

She is so sweet to do that for us! 

And it was nice to talk to her for a bit. 

We went abed picked the little kids up from school about 3:30 to head to kleiner park for Cassi's xc meet.

Cassi was all happy and you would never think she had a care in the world.

completely opposite from this morning and last night! 

She did such a great job!

She got her best time yet at 13:07.

And that was with a fall!

There was a pile up of kids towards the beginning of the race when they had to funnel in. ....

Cassi afloat missed it but then got tripped up.

So she fell and still got her PR!

I'm proud of her! 

Proud that she ran even though this morning she wanted to give up. 

So proud of the progress she made over these xc weeks.

Proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone and doing something she had never done.
