Sunday October 18

I got a text this morning that I needed to meet before church to talk with a member of the bishopric.

I had also gotten two calls yesterday from the bishop and missed both calls, called him back and got his voice mail.

So I knew something was up.

I said I could be there at 12:30, then all morning I mourned my Beehive calling.

I knew they would release me.

Why else would they be calling?

I thought the bishop was calling to speak in sacrament meeting or something, but for another bishopric member to call, I knew it was the calling.

I was so sad.

Sad that I just missed having Cassi by two weeks.

But I told myself that there must be someone out there who she needed to be with in Beehives more than me.

I also was bummed because I haven't finished doing my personal progress as a leader yet....a goal I had with this calling.

But again, I knew that was something I could continue to work on.

I went in and.....

I was right.

I got released.

BUT.....I got recalled to the same calling :)

Our Young Woman's presidency got a bit of a shuffle.

Our Amazing YW pres, Holly, was released after almost 4 years (I think).

I only remember her being the YW pres while we were here.....and we have been here 4 years.

Such bitter sweet feelings for her I'm sure!

She is amazing and I love the friendship we formed while in YW together and will continue to have.

So a new President was called.

One I am super excited about!

Cindy, who was my Beehive adviser, was called as the YW Pres!!!!!!!

She truly is so awesome.

She is a great teacher, and great thinker, a good friend, and a great example.

I am so excited for the girls to get to know her better.

She will be so great.

She told me that when she was called that she was told to pick counselors that will have her back and be there for her.

She said as she prayed and prayed she knew she wanted me back.

I am so grateful for that!

I'm not ready to leave these girls yet!

I am excited about the new ladies that were called.

I will miss the ones I have been working with too.

Anyway, so it was kind of crazy today in YW!

I won't lie, I will crazy miss Cindy's lessons.

She is an incredible teacher!

Anyway, after church our Home Teachers came over.

Last time they came they challenged us to read The Proclamation to The World.

This morning we read it all together as a family and talked about it.

Such a beautiful document.

Then we had dinner and ran to the Morgans house for a birthday celebration for Carley, who will leave me out of Beehives now.......

It was a fun night :)
