Ariel and her family left this morning.
Poor little Kalia had a rough night and was running a fever early this morning.
But it sounds like the car ride wasn't too bad.
And they got home in good time.
It was fun to see them again.
Maybe now that we are a mid-way point to Andy's house, we might get more visitors :)
One they left, we started getting stuff done around the house.
The big girls helped me to go through the stuff in the garage.....not through all of it.
But we did get a big garbage bin full.
So that's good :)
There is more to do......lots more to do!
But the best part is....we have room to park in the garage now!!!
Yay!
We had the counter guy come out and make templates.
That wasn't supposed to happen for another week or so.
So that made us excited that maybe we were gonna be a little earlier to get the counters.
But we asked the guy and he said we are still 4 weeks out!
What!
Man oh man....I hope they can get us earlier than that.
But we do have a lot to keep us busy until then.....it just would be nice to start using my new stove top!!!!!!
We also got started on grouting the shower today.
The putting on the grout wasn't too bad.....
But the wiping off......man oh man!!!!
We must have waited too long before we wiped the grout off.
So it took some elbow grease......but we got it looking pretty darn good. (just don't look too close ;)
I am super happy with it, and excited to get the rest of the bathroom finished.
I need to find some floor tile, so we can get that done!
We are just moving right along.
Dad got to go and get a new x-ray today.
Doc is thinking that maybe he can take the brace off earlier.
We will find out more tomorrow, hopefully!
I really should use my real camera more!!!!!
It is just so handy to use the phone camera!!!!
And easier upload. :)
But I promise real camera pictures more often.
Well, I will try.
