Everyone slept good last night.
After we got the little ones off to bed, I tried to start getting some laundry done and some cleaning.
My friends Alyson Woodland and Tiffany Woodward had set up a massage for Madi, Cassi and I.
Our masseuse showed up a little after 10.
Madi went first.
I left to go and run some errands....Easter errands :)
I got some really cute Easter clothes that I am excited to take some pictures of them in.
Anyway, by the time I came back, it was Cassi's turn and Madi was raving about the massage.
When Cassi came and got me, she looked like she was floating on a cloud :)
So it was my turn.
I have never had a massage.
It was pretty great, I'm not gonna lie.
But I had a SUPER hard time laying there for an hour....when there is so many other things that I need to get done.
But everyone keeps telling me to 'take care of myself'....so I thought an hour massage would appease those people for a while ;)
Brent also had his buddy Pete Devour from the Fire Department come and visit with him.
I feel bad I was gone most of the time he was here, but it was good for Brent to sit and visit with him.
Well, then Dad wanted to take a stroll.
We walked around front and he tried the stairs to the deck.
He did good, and took it nice and slow.
Once he was up there he could walk around the first floor pretty nicely, and he also took a walk around the wrap around deck :)
It worked out great.
Stacia stopped by to chat for a little bit and we made plans to dye Easter eggs later on.
Vern went and picked Elsie up for me from school.
I know it seems silly, but it has been nice not to have to worry about getting kids to and from school.
Paul, stopped by and brought us some orange juice that Stacia got for us.
And then Michelle Burk came by and she brought us dinner.....pizza!
Pizza is always a big hit :)
She stuck around and talked for awhile with Brent and I.
She also left for home and came back with some pretty great rice ice packs and also a electric shock device thing......that feels so awesome!
She stuck it on my shoulder, and it was pretty darn neat!
I showed her around the house and then she said she wasn't leaving until she did my dishes.
She a stinker....but an angel stinker.
It is always so helpful to talk to her.
She was very comforting to me those first few days...I never spoke to her (I don't really talk to anyone when I am emotional....), but her texts and emails and comments.....they helped me so much, and I am so grateful for her.
Well, the kids all played for a while, then we all ended up at the Morgans house to dye some Easter eggs.
It was a fun night, and it was good for Dad to get out.
It was a good day......a late night, AGAIN....but a good day!
