Monday March 9

Dad went to PT this morning and also had an appointment with his regular doc.

He said he just needs to get the go-ahead from the neurologist (on Wednesday) and then he can do the 'fit for duty'.

Then hopefully that means he can go back to work!

He is ready to go back....I on the other hand, have become really spoiled with him being around every day for 12 weeks ;)

I spent the day painting.

Well, for a few hours anyway.

Then I went to Lowes and ordered the doors for the house.

Yay!

Drew came over and helped out today.

He finished up my plank wall, which I am very excited about!

I am super excited to get that painted!!!!!

I know it's not everyone's 'cup of tea', but man, I love it!

Once I gt back from the store, I had to run and get Elsie for PT.

Dad continued to work on lights....he is almost done with that!

Yay!

After PT, we had dinner, did homework, the FHE.

For FHE we all went outside and picked up branches that we had started pruning.

Still LOTS of pruning to get done....one thing at a time though!

And Dad also started burning ditches.

We only got about half of the property.

The kiddos thought that as pretty great.

It was so cute watching Port by dads side making sure the things that shouldn't catch fire stayed not on fire :)

Dad did set fire to last years Christmas tree, which was REALLY dead :(

It lit up crazy fast!

Madi and Cassi ran across the field because it looked so eery with the smoke on top of the manure pikes out there :)

Silly girls.

It was a fun night working together as a family, on something other than the house!

Everyone was happy and got along.....

My most favorite thing ever!
