Today after school, Port wanted to go out and ride bikes.
It's been a long time since he has been on it.
But he got going pretty good.
He still needs help getting started.....and stopping is a bit sketchy too :)
But the boys were out there for a really long time.
It's pretty cute.

I had a meeting for Port's speech today.
Mrs. Grayson gets to be a part of the meeting too.
She told me before the meeting started how great Port has been doing.
She's not talking about the 'going to school' thing.
But about the progress he has made academically this year.
She used to call him a 'late bloomer'.
I agreed.
But over the last little while, things have really started clicking for him.
He passed off his sight words and is bringing books home to read now.
My baby is reading!
Makes me so happy.

Tonight was 'New Beginnings' for YW.
It is program we put together to introduce the YW program to the new girls coming in this year.
And introduce the Years theme.
This year it is "Embark in the Service of God".
And Cassi was one of them.
So, it was a night for all of us.
Vern babysat Elsie and Porter for us and Dad, Madi, Cassi and I.
It was a nice evening.
*****
Drew and Aron came out today to help dad with putting the screws in to the girder trusses.
It is a big job, that would have been better to get done at the FIRST framing inspection!!!!!
But The boys got it almost all done.
Now the heating/ac guy has a couple things to do before we can get the framing inspection done.
Then hopefully we PASS and then here comes drywall!!!!!
