I made a decision.

Since dad will be home every night for the foreseeable future.....

I put him in charge of getting Elsie to do her homework.

She is always so much more willing to do stuff for him :)

She is a stinker after school, and fights me when she needs to do homework......but she is exhausted from her day at school.

Her poor little legs :(

Just worn out!

So I understand, but she still has work that needs to be done.

So she can have fun with daddy and get it done too :)

I think it is a great plan!

She is pretty darn happy about it too!

Aaron was here all day again.

I can't believe he is here, day after day, all day running wires for us.

We are so thankful, and have no idea how we are gonna pay him back.

I really hope he understands how much we appreciate all he is doing.

Brent went up for a little bit, talked with Aaron, and it was nice for him to be up there and walk around.

I thought....hey, we could build the closet wall tonight as a family and dad will just walk us through it.

I know that basics on how to do it.....but he could be there to supervise.

I should have known better.

He just can't sit and watch someone else do what he wants to be in there doing.

I think it was good for him, for his ego, for his soul.

Maybe not so good for his body.

He got in trouble from me a few times, but it was also good to see him happy working with the kiddos.

Double edge sword that I guess we will pay for tonight and tomorrow :(

But he is doing good.

Getting around better.

Just lacks strength, and his knee continues to buckle unexpectedly.

We go to the doc tomorrow for a post-op checkup, and hopefully we can start some PT soon.

I think that will be good for him.
