Church was great today.

All the kids were pretty well-behaved, and everyone went to class.

After church, we made some pretzel, peppermint bark and took it to the station for a little Christmas treat.

Dads last shift for a while.

We weren't there for very long before he got called out.

Elsie did not like the noise.

Actually....it was just lights.

She was anticipating the loud noise, but it didn't happen cause we were out in the bay already.

Silly girl.

It was fun to see dad for a little bit.

We came home and made a little candy cane garland to give to Bubbles and Eldon.

Bubbles makes an edible Christmas tree, and we thought we would help her out with some decorations :)

We heated up little candy canes in the oven at 250 for about 4 min.

Then you shape them into a circle, you have to kind of stretch it too to make it big enough for another link to go through.

Then you just keep doing that.

It wasn't a very long chain/garland.

It took a lot longer than I anticipated....

But they loved it.

Kiddos are all in bed now.

Tomorrow we plan to really push it and get as much done as possible upstairs.

Putting the floors down and getting the walls up.

Dads surgery is sched for 5:30 a.m Tuesday......

He is excited about the prospect of no back pain!!!
