It was a little warmer today.
I think we got above freezing.
So that's good :)
They had outdoor recess today, the last two days have been indoors cause of how cold it was.
Well, when I picked Elsie up, she was soaking wet!
She was wearing two leggings and a skirt today, with double socks.
She had been wearing Porters boots while he has been home sick.
But he went to school today, so I tried to dig up some boots for her.
I found some of Cassi's old ones, they are warm, but not waterproof.
So her piggy's legs and bum were all cold and wet :(
I have been trying to find her some snow boots, but all the stores have been sold out.
I thought for sure that Fred Meyers would have some.
But they were all sold out!
So I ran to a couple thrift stores and then to Payless.
NOTHING!!!!!!
Everyone has bought them all up!
I don't think the stores were prepared with enough snow boots for this snow fall!
It has been the craziest thing!
Well, while I was out that way, I thought to call Drew and Heather to see if they had any extras.
The Young's to the rescue (again!)
They had an extra pair for Elsie to use until we can get some for her!
Thanks guys!
Thanks a million!!!!
I sure hope you feel better SOON Heather!!!!!
Sorry your sick!

I got home and Madi and I got all ready for Young Womans in Excellence tonight.
I had set up earlier this morning while the kids were at school.
We had a carnival theme, and it turned out pretty cute.
As a beehive class we reworded the lyrics to "Do you want to build a snowman" into, "Do you want a Book of Mormon".
Oh, and we all had braids in our hair.
It turned out pretty cute :)
I need to type it up and put it on here.
I have a video of it too......
So there were a few performances, and then the other things the girls had been workingon, were displayed on the carnival 'booths' we had a long the back.
The booths were my job.
I think it turned out pretty cute with the value color bunting :)
Then for refreshments we had hot coco and donut holes and cotton candy.
It all turned out good with what I thought was maybe a lack of planning...........

While I was gone, Cassi and Avery babysat Elsie, Kyra, Porter and Cannon.
I didn't have my hopes very high of how the house would look when we got home.
That is a lot of kids.....and Cassi and Avery tend to play more than pick up :)
I was pleasantly surprised to see the house clean.
Dishes done....
And even laundry folded!!!!!
This was one happy Mama.
I made sure Cassi knew how very proud of her I was.
She's a good kiddo :)
