Tuesday November 4

We worked in the mudroom today.
Got walls knocked down and the stairs moved to a different spot.
There are some major wires in there....so there may or may not have to be a post in the middle there....we will see.
But I am excited about how it is looking :)
*****
We have heard all about Elsie's music program for the last month.
She has been so excited for it.
And tonight was the night!
It was a Veterans Day thing.
So all patriotic songs.
She has been so cute about practicing songs.
We got there in time to get good seats, and also for Brent and I to vote before it started.
Two birds with one stone :)
Anyway.
She had her bar again.
It worked great.
She looked so cute up there, all smiles.
It was the last song, and they do a little hand clap thing.
She started to use both hands for the hand clap thing, and she fell :(
If it was last year, she would have broken out in tears and it would have been all over.
Two awesome things happened.....
First, all the kids around her, as soon as they saw what happened, jumped in to help her stand back up.
It warmed my heart.
Cassi was sitting up front video-taping for me, and she ran over and helped the friends help her up.
It was the sweetest thing.
I LOVE these kids she is growing up with.
Such great kids, such big hearts.
We are blessed.
The second awesome thing that happened......she started singing again after she fell.
She is a rock star!
Then......again in the same song, she decided to try clapping with both hands again.
Doing so good....but having the clap her hands and then down to her legs was a bit awkward with the bar in front of her.
She fell again.
It didn't help that it was late, and she had been standing there for about 45 minutes.....a long time for her little legs.
Lily her cute little friend was right on it, helping her back up and fixing her bell on the bar.
That girl is such a sweet friend.
And again, she continued singing.
I just felt so proud of her.
So proud that she acted the way she did.
I know she feels the love of her classmates.
She feels safe in this environment.
And she is growing, growing into a brave and beautiful little girl.
She makes me proud.
And all those kids around her.....oh they make me proud!
We sure are lucky and very blessed!!!!!
I would love to share the video....but I can't get it to load :(
I will keep trying and maybe get it to work later.

This was the entry way.
I am standing about where the front door used to be.
Now it will be split into part master bathroom, and then the back with the stairs, will be the mudroom area.
