We got the floor in the old entry way built today.

It is looking good.

It is easier to visualize the layout of the bathroom when the floors are all on the same level :)

Port was a cute helper again today.

I love that he is a part of building our house.

He is such a cue little helper.

And he really can work a hammer :)

Tonight had the most beautiful sunset!!!

Glad I got a shot of it :)

 

This used to be looking at the front door from inside the house.

 

This would have been looking into the front entry from the front of the house.

The edge of the floor will have a wall, and the back part will be mudroom area, and the spot where we raised the floors will become part of the master bath.

 



 

 

I know it sounds weird......

But I have dream about the house at night :)

And last night, I dreamt that we pulled up the hardwood floor from the dining room area (which will now we bathroom/closet area) and reused it in the space where we ripped down the bedroom walls on the other side of the house.

So.......

My man started pulling up the floor to see how hard it would be.

I got a good one there :)
