It has been one of those days.

Kind of a lousy day.

It started with me being ready to spend the morning at a meeting.....that ended up being tomorrow.

So my morning was thrown off.

I know it seems silly.....but I had no energy to get up and do anything that I should have been doing!

Anyway.....I did get more laundry done.

WHY IS THERE ALWAYS LAUNDRY!!!!!

I also returned library books.

Overdue library books.

Anyway.....

I picked up Porter and he and I read and played with his Pokémon cards.....

And I got some stuff cleaned up......but not as much as I needed to :(

Then Port and I picked Elsie up early from school for their dentist appointment.

Elsie showed me her name on the wall.

She was picked for citizenship for being polite and courteous.

She was very excited.....and wouldn't hold still for the picture :)

Still cute.

The we went to the dentist, with Wuvey in tow, of course.

Elsie started to do the x-rays...which she never does.

Got the front one done, but when the little mouth card thing scratched in by her tongue....it was over.

She recovered quick, but didn't want to do the rest.

Which is fine.

I was surprised she did the one.

Next time she will be more prepared for how it would feel.

They both did great.

No cavities.

Just need to get Elsie back in for that other spacer so we don't lose that space from the 12 year molar spot in back.

Grabbed some pizza on the way home, and waited for Madi and Cassi to get home.

Madi from cross country, and Cassi went to Avery's house after school cause we were at the dentist.

Ate and was getting ready to get the kids to help me get everything done....homework, dishes, clean up, put away laundry.

Then I remembered that the paint rebate thing at Lowes ended today.

So I ran to Lowes to get a 5 gallon bucket of house paint.

They said it would take 10 minutes....so after 10 minutes of walking around, I went back and they said there was a problem.

They were out of 5 gallon buckets of paint.

Dumb.

So I bought 5 single gallons, which ended up not being as good of a deal, but I was frustrated and just wanted to get home.

I typed the rebate in online and I BETTER get the rebate on all 5 gallons instead of just one!!!!!

Well, I better wrap this post up.

I can tell I am not having the best day.

Maybe I need a vacation ;)

I am excited to go on our little trip.

Poor Port is breaking my heart though :(

He keeps asking why we have to go?

And he asked why we were flying, it's not like it farther than Grandmas house.

I said, actually, it is further.

He did a sad little huff and was almost in tears.

He has been so good about going to school.....no problems with that.

Cross my fingers....

But with things like going to friends houses, he does not want to.

He wants them at our house.

He wants to stay close to Mom and Dad.

I know he will be fine and he will have so much fun with Emmy....but the kid breaks my heart.

I told him he better not be mad at me like he was when we went to Mexico when he was 1.

He wouldn't talk to me, wouldn't even look at me, when we got back.
