So last night was a rough one.
Elsie had a rough night.
Really rough.
She had about a two hour stretch of not sleeping around 2...
After she had already woken up and gone back to sleep twice :(
No good.
I let her sleep in as long as I could this morning.
And she was pretty good and excited about going to school/
Well, then Madi missed the bus, so I had to run her to school, which takes about 30 minutes out of my morning of getting the little kids ready.
But Cassi was great and kept things moving along while I was gone.
So once I got home things were pretty much ready to go.
That was great!
I found out from the bus people, that Madi's bus time was changed to 5 minutes earlier....but the driver never told the kids.
Dumb!
SO.....my morning was not very smooth.
But I did get a good run in....and it has been a while!
Then I had to rush to shower and get to the grocery store, so I could shop and get back in time to pick Porter up.
I made it just in time...but I was rushing to load my groceries in the bags and in the car.
Port and I unloaded the car.
And he relaxed for a little bit.
Actually, he did have a HUGE meltdown when he found out that I went grocery shopping without him.
Not sure where that came from!
But after he had his little breakdown, we unloaded the car :)
We had lunch and relaxed a bit.
Then he played with Cannon and I did dishes, and laundry.
Then before I knew it, it was time for me to go get the girls.
Then dinner.....and homework.
Oh and Madi icing her foot, per doctors orders.
She did not like that!
But I think it will be good for her.
Cassi is working on a play that she is doing for a book report.
Her teacher has a fun way of having the kids do their reports, and Cass is excited about this one :)
We have a fun spot for Port and Elsie to do their homework.
It works out good.
But, and as you can tell by the picture, Elsie was pretty tired and worn out by dinner time.
Little grump.
She did end up doing all her homework, and she rocked it.
For her spelling, she danced as she spelled it out.
And for reading, we are learning that she likes for you to call on her like she is reading in class.
Sometimes she wants to pretend to be other kids in her class.
Usually Naomi.
And so it is their turn to read.
Hey whatever works!
It is writing that she is a turkey about.
It is pretty hard for her to hold that little pencil, especially when she is tired!
I sure hope she sleeps good tonight!!!!!!!
It could be a bad cycle...when she is too tired, she sleeps worse.....so then is more tired :(
No good.
Lets just hope she gets good sleep!
