We started putting up trim today.

You gotta have trim before you can do a drip-edge.

And you gotta have your drip-edge before you can do the shingling....

So if we want shingles....we gotta do the trim :)

It wasn't too bad.

Just a lot of angle figuring.....but we got it figured out.

The back of the house might be a bit tricky....it is way up there.

But we got the front done....well almost done.

He finished the trim on the left dormer.

That's what they will look like.

It is looking great.

We were going to have this trim job and soffit (sp?) job hired to Bob.....but the more we looked around, we knew we could do it....for like 1/3 cheaper.

So of course we are gonna go that way ;)

I am thinking we might paint it before we do the drip line....get a good clean white.

It should be easy to just roll on verses painting it when it's all put together.

Oh, we will just have to see what happens :)

Just happy to see things moving forward.

And happy to be working together :)

The kids weren't as great today.

Some grumpiness......bored.

We have some fun stuff planned tomorrow.

We will do some individual things with the kids.....

Dad will take Port to the movie tomorrow....and I plan to take Madi school shopping.

And then next week I will do individual stuff with The other girls.....and throw in some daddy dates too :)
