Sunday August 3

So everyone left this morning.

It was such a nice visit with everyone and I am thankful for all who was able to come for Elsie's baptism!

Rachel and her family stuck around for a little bit to ride Miley.

I think they had a fun time :)

Then we got ready and headed to church.

Emmy left with Morgan and Bailey around the same time we left.

It was fun to have those girls here for this last week too.

Anyway, church went good.

Elsie got called up by the bishop to be recognized for her baptism.

And she did it.

I walked with her up to the stairs and then helped her up the stairs, then she walked over to the bishop with her big smile :)

He told them that she loved Buffalo's....for whoever didn't already know!

Things she likes to do with her family.....

Her favorite part of FHE, singing and the stories :)

Her favorite food...mac and cheese.

It was funny, he said that she loves to go to Buffalo Wild Wings, where she orders mac and cheese.

That got a chuckle.

She did a great job.

Then it was fast and testimony meeting today....

I knew I wanted to go up.

I didn't know if I could get myself too....but I did.

I didn't say half the things I wanted to, but I am glad I went up.

I don't think I did a very good job of bearing my testimony.....

Guess I need practice.

Maybe it will be better next time.

Next time....

Elsie had a little bit of a hard time in primary today....

She got to bed late and had a rough night.

Plus it has been an overwhelming weekend!

But I got her some snacks and she went back to class.

She was excited because she got to use her new scriptures in the lesson in class.

After church we came home and had dinner.....leftovers from last night.

Now it is just our little family now.

It's a little quiet around here :)

It will be nice to get back to the routine!

I like a routine!

Now I need to start thinking about back to school stuff...

It's coming quick!
