We ad some good pre-church activities going on before church today.
Cassi made a domino temple :)
Listening to the primary music CD.....Elsie knows all of them, and it makes my heart happy.
Church was good.
We thought Madi would get her Young Womanhood Recognition award today.
She had her meeting with the bishop this morning, and he told her it would be next week so they can get the certificate made up and stuff.
She said "Oh great...another week to worry about getting up in front of everyone!"
She will do just fine.
But she is excited to get that medallion around her neck.
A lot of hard work and hours went into that thing!
I had the lesson today in sharing time.
Both Elsie and Porter were being stinkers.
Neither wanted to go to class.
Elsie went and Port sat up front with me.
Then I got up for the lesson and Port stayed sitting by me, and I got about half way through when Elsie started crying :(
I finished up....it was a good lesson. I am really enjoying doing sharing times.....I got to use our house as an analogy for keeping our houses (families) strong with scripture study.
How we didn't have the whole house covered back up once the tar paper blew off, and it was late and didn't want to go get more.....so there were holes.
Just like the holes that Satan looks for to get in and break apart families (or knock ceilings out :) if we choose to go lax on things like scripture study and FHE and paying tithing etc....
They were so quite listening to it all....which is quite the feat with so many rowdy kids :)
After church we had our Linner.....
Later we played our own little version of Pictionary.
It was a pretty fun night.
Tomorrow.....we hope to get started on those shingles.
Port's school bus
Elsie and her snake
Port got the word "mom"....and this is what he drew.
Pretty great like-ness I think :)
