It was nice to be back in our church!
It was brutal getting ready this morning though :(
I don't know if it's because it has been a while since dad has been gone on a Sunday....but man....it was rough.
But we got to church.
Things went good there.
After sacrament a super cute old guy, who I don't know, but think he is in our ward......came up and gave Elsie a Buffalo nickel and said he was so happy when the Bishop mentioned that she loved Buffalos, and he had this he wanted to give to her.
It was the sweetest thing.
As soon as he left, I asked the ladies around me who he was....but no one knew.
But we are all in primary....and don't know many of the older people :(
So I am determined to find out who he is!
It was the sweetest thing!
And he told me about a song that I needed to look up called "Two Buffalos"...
You will have to check it out here...
I still haven't; shown it to Elsie...but I know she will love it.
He did warn me to listen to it first, cause maybe I wouldn't want it to be played over and over in the house.....
It is quite catchy :)
I need to get Cassi to learn how to play it on the guitar.
I am sure it will be a big hit in our house!
Anyway.....he was super sweet!

Something else super cool today.....Madi finished reading the Book of Mormon.
She started at the beginning of the year.
And as one of her Personal Project things, she kept a scripture journal as well.
I think it is a pretty fantastic thing for her to have accomplished!
She is also working on her very LAST Personal project today....a scrapbook of spiritual quotes that she has gathered from several church magazines.
She has been very focused and has enjoyed this personal progress journey so much.
She's super awesome :)
I am going to do it with her when she starts it all over again!!!
*****
Cassi was a good sport to play Lego's with Port again today.
Early church is good...but it makes it so we have quite a few extra hours to fill up with Sunday appropriate activities after church..... :)
What are some fun Sunday afternoon ideas?????
(as I am taking the pictures, Elsie is giggling and saying that I need to hurry, her fingers can't hold it much longer!)
