Saturday August 23

It was a good day!

We got started on the roof early today.

We also had a visit from the bishop while we were working.....but more about that tomorrow ;)

At lunch time we went over to Vern and Billy's house for Graham birthday party/lunch.

Fun little break and the kids had fun with the little minion craft that Vern had for them.

Then it was back to the roof.

We got the vents put in.

We did not finish the roof today.....sooooo close.....

Monday for sure :)

The kids played good today and we decided to take the out for an end of Summer/back to school dinner at Red Robin.

And when we were done there...Krispy Kreme had the hot and ready donuts :)

We also got extras for a snack tomorrow.

On the way home, Brent was nominated by his Brother to do the ice bucket challenge.

It has been going around the internet like crazy....

The one that Madi did a couple days ago.

This challenge has raised an unprecedented amount of money as well as awareness for ALS.

Super cool to be a part of it :)
