TRUSS DAY!!!!!!

Things went nice and smooth today.

Lots of guys here to help.

They had to attach some of the trusses together.

Two of them needed 4 stuck together....and then 4 needed to be 3 together.

Lots and lots of nails went in there.

I think they went through like 5 boxes, with like 1000 in each.

Lots of nails.

And they were shot with a gun, but most of them didn't go in all the way, so they hammered them all in.

I see some sore muscles for those guys.

They started by hand lifting them before the crane got here.

Then the crane and helped with lifting them.

Then they got started putting them up

It was all very exciting!!!! :)

There are still caps that go on the top of the trusses, and they need to build the dormer windows.

I am sure that is what they will work on tomorrow.

The kids and I went and got pizzas for the guys once they were done.

Later in the evening, we headed out to Pat and Steve's to pick up our trailer.

Came home and put some more sprinklers out.

The kids were pretty good today.

Madi and Cassi moved all the stuff from the fridge upstairs to the fridge downstairs.

They helped sort laundry and fold clothes.

That was pretty much the day for us.

Can't wait to see the progress tomorrow.
