Happy Birthday to our Elsie Rose!!!!!
I can't believe this day has finally come!
We have been waiting and talking about it for so long!!!!
We woke up and opened presents.
She got mostly Barbie's and a cute true buffalo story.
New shoes and a new dress.
Oh and underwear :)
Then we all got ready and headed to church.
I had sharing time in church today.
I have to say, I have NEVER seen this primary as reverent and quiet as they were today.
Junior and Senior primary!
My lesson was about 'The Holy Ghost comforts and guides me'.
I told them the story of the time when I woke up so scared at 2 am while Brent was at work and I knew I needed to kneel and pray for the safety of Brent and how I felt so comforted after I prayed.
And how I talked with Brent the next morning and he felt the prompting at the same time of night NOT to go into the home of the call they were called to, and to wait for the cops.
Anyway....it was really cool for the kids to listen and feel the spirit and learn that the Holy Ghost is really there to comfort and guide us.
And I pointed out to them that the feelings they were feeling as I talked with them was the Holy Ghost confirming to them that what I was saying is true.
And that is how our testimonies are built.
It really was great.
I really love when we can really connect with the children.
And help them to understand and feel the spirit when we teach them.

After church, we went and picked Jaime up.
She is going with Madi to girls camp tomorrow.
I think this is going to be a great thing.
A great missionary opportunity.
Then we came home and got ready for Elsie's little party.
We had a little 'family' party with our adoptive Meridian family :)
We love every single one of them and we are so blessed to have these families in our lives.
They have all made us better people and we love them for that.
Elsie had so much fun.
Fun presents from friends.
Playing with friends....
And best of all, going for walks with Bubbles.....
Bubbles is just the greatest and we love her.
So thankful that we came into each others lives :)
We had some major wind and some rain.
We couldn't light the candles cause it was too windy, but she pretended anyway :)
It was a very fun night....
And little bug had the time of her life, and went to bed exhausted.
That's a good day :)
