Busy day today, and tomorrow is even crazier!

And man, I was grumpy.

I think it is mostly because dads gone :(

It is no nice to have him around for a long period of time, but it always makes it harder to get back to things once he goes back to work.

ESPECIALLY when the kids are still trying to adjust to being with each other all day!

They are bored a lot of the time.

And I feel like I am always telling them to clean......

Anyway.

I got up and ran this morning before Elsie's speech therapist came at 9ish.

She left and I got my grocery list ready.

We didn't have much around to eat, and we were out of milk and toilet paper.

So I needed to go!

I told the kids if they were good while I was gone we could go to the library.

They were all very excited to get there.

Madi said that all the books she wanted to read are checked out and with a waiting list :)

But she found a couple to read anyway.

Port picked out one I know would make his Dad proud.

He is excited to read it with his Dad :)

He also started to build a robot with scraps outside while I was out thinning the apple trees.

Oh thinning the apples tress!!!!

It just kills me!

I hate to thin things out, I understand why, and we get better fruit because of it, but that doesn't make it any easier!

Our apple trees are packed full of fruit, so are the pear trees and the apricots!!!!

It is very exciting!

The goats and horses were happy to have the bucket full of discarded apples.

I need to try and go through the pears tomorrow.

I am sure I will need to go through them all again in a couple weeks to make sure they have room to grow.

Madi and Cassi had a fun time dressing up and taking pictures.

They chose outfits to fit the 1700's, 1800's, 1900's, 2000's, 2100's and 2200's.

(2200 seems a bit scary, and I am glad I won't be around then :)

Pretty cute....and again, anything they forces them to get along for an extended period of time.....

Madi is at a friend party right now, that is why I am up so late....

I hope she comes home happy and gets good sleep cause I have to wake her up, instead of sleeping in, so she can babysit while I take Cassi and myself to the dentist at 9:30.

I hope I am less grumpy tomorrow......
