So the foundation guys couldn't come today to take their forms off.
But we went ahead with what we had planned for today.
Drew showed up this morning with Aubree in tow, and we took the siding off.
It's got a nice yellow stucco underneath :)
Our neighbor across the street said he thought he would never have to see that stucco again!
I sure wish I had a picture of everyone helping on it.....
The grownups would pull off the siding and insulation foam, and the kids would take it and load it onto the trailer.
They worked hard!
It was a good system and the work got done pretty quick :)
We went to the Young's house after lunch for a little swim.
It was nice to just have a few relaxing minutes :)
Elsie bug walked around with dad in the water, and eventually she was walking with no help.
Dad was close behind her, but she was doing it all on her own.
I am very proud of her....she didn't want to do it without her life jacket and tube.....
But she was brave and did it and she LOVED it!
I told her next time we need to practice squatting and jumping in the water, I think that would be good work for her!
But man, that girl was beyond tired at bedtime tonight!
Hard work takes a lot out of her, but she rocks :)
After swimming, we came home and brought Kara back with us so she and Madi could hang out.
I sprayed the fruit trees and Dad fixed the tractor so we could lift some dirt to fill in the trenches.
Once it was fixed, that's what we did.
So it is all ready to go for the framer tomorrow, as soon as those dang foundation guys take those forms off!
Madi and Cassi made some pizza for dinner.
Some super yummy pizza!
And it was very pretty too :)
I need to make some pre-planned meals that I can either stick in the crockpot in the mornings, or meals that Madi and Cassi can put together fairly easily.
Because I am out there working as long as dad it.....and the family still needs fed :)
Plus, they love making dinners, so it's a win win.
