Sunday May 18

It was a nice Sunday today.
The clouds rolled in and it was a rainy morning.....but it was still pretty.
And rain is always nice when you don't need to be outside...especially when you don't have a sprinkler system and have to hand water your oodles and oodles of grass :)
Got the kids to church and had time to make copies I needed and also set up the primary room.
We had an in-service for the primary workers today.
It was very good.
We talked about finding joy in the calling, loving the kids, helping kids who may need extra love and help, and keeping in mind those kids who don't come as often.
We had some fruit and cupcakes for them.
And I think it turned out really nice.
And things ran smooth with the man, many substitutes we had.
After church we changed and had some dinner and I brought them cupcakes home for dessert.
Then we sat for a little bit before bedtime and watched 'Funniest Home Videos'.
Porter cracked me up.....first with his stack of pillows.
I don't know, maybe he was making a 'faux' Dad....cause that is who he usually sits with :)
But then his faces....oh they were killing me!
And Elsie too.
Cracks me up!
Port told me that one of these nights I need to put his fake snake on him and then wake him up and scare him and then we can send the video in and win.
But it had to be a surprise, and he couldn't know when I would be doing it.
Good plan buddy :)
Elsie has an eye appointment tomorrow.
I am excited to get her new glasses.
I think Dr. Lee might get mad at me....
Cause she was supposed to get a new prescription last time....it was only slightly different.
We went to get the glasses and found out insurance wouldn't over it until it had been a year....it used to be that it renewed in the new year...
Anyway, it was April when the year was up, and her appointment is tomorrow....
So I didn't want to get new glasses and then have to wait AGAIN for insurance to cover it.
So I hope I don't get into too much trouble.
Like I said, it was only a slight change in prescription....the people at the glasses place said it wouldn't be a big deal...
We will see.
