Saturday May 3

We woke up early this morning to go and clean the church.

It went by pretty quick, because there were lots of people to help out.

Since we were out that way, I wanted to stop and see if I could find some cheap t-shirts.

Madi needed some too....

Dad dropped Madi, Elsie and I off at Target, and he took Cassi and Port with him to Home Depot.

They were lucky because they made it in time to do the little project.

They made a cute little flower planter.

Well, Porter did....(I have my suspicions that Cassi did it too, and she is saving it for Mothers day :)

We headed back home and did our usual (the new usual :) Saturday Clean-up.

I really do love the note card thing I have going on.

Each card says exactly what needs to be done in that specific room.

Makes it nice because they know exactly what they should do before it is done.

After the great clean-up, we got to ride Miley.

She is a good horse.

Poor girl is old though...and stays pretty slow.

But that is good for little ones :)

Elsie was so excited to ride her.

She was in a bad mood when we rode Strip last time in Wyoming, and I think she feels bad that she didn't.

So she was happy to be able to ride Miley.

I think Miley will be a good thing.

I hope she likes it with us :)

Cassi wanted me to French braid her mane, I think it turned out cute!

We had about an hour before we had to head out to a afternoon mom and dad date....

So we started laying the old black plastic on the garden.

It is pretty rough looking, but it will work.

We had to buy some more plastic for some spots, but we fit them all together and I think we are ready to get planting!!!!

Then Dad and I headed out for our date.

We had a Groupon for Bodies in Motion with Drew and Heather and also Chad and Tracy.

It was a couples ropes course thing.

It was fun stuff.

It started with a charades game....Brent and I the top score, so we got to be first pick for our team mates.

Then we moved to some minute to win-it games....which our team won too :)

Then moved on to the ropes course.

They had different baggies taped around the ropes course and we had to find our teams color of bags....one couple per bag, and then when we had all the bags, we had to open them and put the puzzle pieces inside together.

It was really fun, and oh so tiring!

Brent really wanted to be up there, so he picked one that was far away, and I feel like he took the longest way around......but....we did it.

Our team did awesome and we got a quicker time then the other team.

We pretty much rocked it!

Then we played some team building games.

They were pretty fun stuff.

It would be a fun thing to do with all of our kids....I think they would have a blast with it.

Then the groupon came with a dinner too, but we had to take ours to go, because I was supposed to go to the stake baptisms tonight.

Luckily I had asked if the Primary president would go, because I did not make it in time :(

I thought I planned it good, but I didn't.

But we got home and finished up the plastic on the garden and spent some time outside, because it was such a beautiful night.

Now I feel so completely exhausted (but that might be partly due to Cassi being up in the middle of the night and me having to deal with that...)

It was a good and long day!
