I hate to do this, but I have to fill in the details about our day today, at another time :(
It was Cassi's jump-a-thon tonight.
She did a great job, but it was a late night.
And Kenna and her boys came tonight.
Brent had a couple hours off to come and watch Cassi jump and to see the boys and Kenna for a few minutes....
He left and we all just hung out for a little bit, played I-spy, and read a few books.
Now they are all in bed....
Should be a fun day tomorrow!
*****
Cassi had a big day.
It was Wagon's Hoe for her.
4th grade spends their time learning about Idaho history.
And this is their big fun event to put all the things they learned about to life.
They have all kinds of activities.
Stations included lasso-ing, writing in diaries, making wooden buttons, sawing wood, starting camp fires, making butter, cleaning clothing, using flint and stone to make sparks, making a button toy, cleanup from their stew dinner.
It was a super fun day for all.
Then it was a rush to pick her up and get her changed.
I left Madi at home with Elsie and Porter for them to wait for dad to come and get them and meet up with us at the jump-a-thon.
Cassi and I picked up Avery and we went to Subway to have dinner with the team before the jump-a-thon.
Then to Centennial High School for the jump-a-thon.
I wanted Cassi to do well.
But I also wanted her to understand that she should have spent more time practicing.
She has really improved over the last couple weeks because she put more of an effort into practicing.
But still....she could have been way better if she had taken is seriously from the very beginning.
So she did a great job with the first jump.
She got close to her highest jump number.
So that's good.
But just not quite good enough to move on to the next level.
Good thing though, is now she knows she needs to practice more so that when she tries out for team in 5th grade she will do much better.
I am proud of her and for even going for the jump team I the first place.
I hope she learned some kind of a lesson though about practicing.......
Hopefully.
Kenna met up with us at our house after the Jump-a-thon.
It was a fun day :)

Can't wait to hear about it!
The Wagons Ho activities look so fun! What a day! Her pioneer outfit is great!
That's great she did well with the jump-a-thon - and she'll know that more practice will help her next year!
