Well, I woke up this morning, ready to start getting the kiddos ready for the day, and Madi ran to me all giddy.
She told me to go back to bed!
It was a snow day!
I honestly didn't believe her, because it wasn't that bad outside......
But sure enough, she had paused on the TV that our district was closed.
So, we went back to bed......for a few minutes before both the little ones woke up :)
We rested a little while and then we started to clean up around the house and had breakfast.
The kids were all excited, but I was still shocked that it was a snow day......I figured a big storm was fixin to come in.
But, nope, that never happened.
Oh well.
We had a fun time anyway.
First I had a meeting planned with a guy who does remodels.
He was recommended to us by people in our ward, so we finally had him come.
He was impressed that I had so much already planned out.
He said that it made the first meeting so much easier, cause I already know what I want :)
I am so excited.
He said it would be approx. 2 months before we could break ground, with all the stuff that needs to get done before that.....
But then it should be about 90 days after that to get it done.
Oh wouldn't that be great :)
I am seriously so excited!
I dream about it at night.
I can't believe we are one step closer to it actually happening!!!!!
Anyway, once he left, we decided that we needed to go to the movies :)
The Lego Movie opened today, and that has been one we really wanted to see.
We had about 15 minutes to get there, so I quickly made sandwiches and we hopped in the car.
Only too bad, we got pulled over.
Dad wasn't going too fast, but because of weather conditions (which really wasn't too bad, as I said earlier!!!) we got a ticket :(
Bummer.
So it was an expensive day at the movies.........
But the movie was enjoyed by all, especially the boys :)
It was a really cute show and very cleverly written, and it was fun for kids and adults.
Got home and Mom and Dad went to the gym while the kids played together.
We stopped by to pick up a few things for dinner on the way home.
Then the Morgans dropped off Avery and Canon because it was Kyra's spelling bee tonight, so we watched the other two for them.
She ended up winning the whole she-bang!
Pretty cool.
As soon as they picked up Canon and Avery, Madi, Cassi and I headed to Heathers house.
She had a fun craft night planned.
We painted cute heart decorations.
The girls really had a fun time, and so did I.
Plus I love anything that is hearts :)

Oh, and Happy Birthday Mom!!!!!
